Brooklyn native, Casanova surprised his fans this week by dropping his debut mixtape entitled “Be Safe Tho”. While it is true that the tape experienced a few dozen leaks over the past few months. Fans were still eager to hear the full track list. On the intro alone fans were taking back by how smoothly he spits. As he speaks about, his incarcerated friend Taxstone. The track was a great way to start the tape, giving fans a clear image of who he is as an artist as well as what he stands for.

The 11-track project sure isn’t short of talent including features from artist such as Chris Brown & LO on “OHB,”. Each of which making the album stand out expressing Casanova’s sense of versatility. Throughout the tape Casanova stays true to his Brooklyn roots, using some classic beats including Jay Z’s “Song Cry. Using this beat allowed him to showcase his ability to take a chance and flow with the greats. Throughout the tape, Casanova’s flow can be described as somewhat aggressive and rough. With some saying his style of lyricism vaguely resembles another Brooklyn native Busta Rhymes.
