5 years ago the rapping/singing/production duo that is Rock City (R.City) signed with Akon’s Konvict Muzik Label. Since then, they have put out 8 mixtapes and written songs for Chris Brown, Jennifer Hudson, Rihanna, R.Kelly, Justin Bieber and even Akon to name a few. Despite all of their success, they have yet to release an official album.

Because of this, the St. Thomas natives, brothers Timothy “Don’t Talk” and Theron “Da Spokesman” Thomas launched a very public campaign called “PTFAO (Put the F**king Album Out” with the hope that the label would release their album.

Unfortunately after 2 yrs. of campaigning that did not happen. The duo met with Akon and was presented with the option to either remain with Konvict and work towards putting out a project or be released from their contract. They eventually came to a mutual agreement to leave the label allowing Rock City to finally release their debut album Free At Last.

Free At Last is set to drop this summer. The first single off of the album is “We On”.
