The relationship between sports and music is becoming more and more evident. The similarities amongst them may not seem obvious, however the true connection is more internal than external. Although, when the connection is visible, it is a beautiful scene. A great example of this is Apple’s newly acquired Beats By Dre brand, which has no problem with creating scenes that capture the bond between sports and music.
Now Beats is entering a different playing field and taking their new SOLO2 Headphones along for the ride. With the World Cup approaching, FIFA is working diligently to promote the event as well as their brand. Together Beats and FIFA have created a brilliant commercial entitled “The Game Before The Game”, which features a broad range of celebrities.
Cameos for the epic commercial include Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Lebron James, and Serena Williams, as well as some of soccer’s brightest stars. As the World Cup nears, the feeling and emotions start to ride high. The matchup is sure to be memorable, just like the commercial below. Check it out.
