Have you ever wanted to know what goes on in the back of the kitchen of your neighborhood Taco Bell establishment? Well unfortunately for a local Taco Bell establishment in the California area, this employee might be their worst nightmare.
If this is not enough reason to stop eating fast food then I don’t know what is. A nasty Taco Bell employee decided it was cute to lick the taco shells that will later be eaten by a customer and then upload the photo to Facebook!
I don’t even have words for the sickness that swept over me while looking at this photo. I mean how many times has this occurred but there wasn’t a photo to go along with it?? It happened in Ridgecrest, CA. SO if you have eaten at the Taco Bell in Ridgecrest, you might want to go pump your stomach asap.
If this dude was bold enough to post that, what else has he done to the food that he didn’t capture on photo? Taco Bell responded with,
“We have strict food handling procedures and zero tolerance for any violations. We believe this is a prank and the food was not served to customers. We are conducting an investigation and will be taking swift action against those involved.”
I’m sorry…a prank? No. We don’t joke like that with food we are spending our money on. Funny thing is…Taco Bell’s Twitter tweeted:
#BeefyCrunchBurrito is back. With a special ingredient too!”
The Irvine-based company says the photograph was taken for a contest showing employees enjoying their first bite of the product. It wasn’t submitted, but a worker posted it to a Facebook page — which violates company policy. The employee was later terminated with cause.
You guys might want to do a better screening process like…mental examinations. Geez!
