Beyonce’s anticipated HBO documentary Life Is But A Dream reveals an older Blue Ivy. Immediately, an even blend of similarities, of both Jay and Bey, are brought to light. E! News reported that Beyonce spilled some complimenting words in the direction of her Hollywood best friend, Gwyneth Paltrow, as well as some childhood desires for Blue Ivy.

Beyonce and Jay Z uncover the full face of Blue Ivy Carter.

Beyonce’s BFF Gwyneth Paltrow

Soaking in advice from Gwyneth about raising kids in the spotlight has become very helpful for the Destiny’s child singer. When referring to Gwyn, Beyonce stated:

She is incredible; she’s a great friend on every level. I think for us, protecting our daughters is so important and…keeping things on our own terms, so I will still be protective and make sure [Blue Ivy] has a childhood and a great time.

As for any mommy worries Beyonce confidently sealed her words up with this:

At some point, you know it is what it is, you can’t control it anymore, but I know as long as I’m the mother that I know I can be and the mother I have—such an incredible mother—my daughter’s going to be fine.

In this very bright yet personal documentary of the songstress’s life, her miscarriage as well as relationship will placed on center stage for the world. The visionary will definitely be the first in history for the very discrete superstar and her family.

Beyonce Carter’s Life Is But a Dream documentary premieres on HBO, Sunday February 16.
