AKOO_PassYou’re invited!

Although the self proclaimed King of the South, T.I., has a bit more sitting in time out to do, his clothing label AKOO recently debuted its Spring 2012 collection during (not at; there IS a difference) New York Fashion week. Among the crowd were a few familiar faces from the C & D list such as: Basketball Wife reject Meeka Claxton and her husband Speedy, Hosea Chanchez, Victor Cruz, Bethany Barber and a few others we won’t bother mentioning.

The show, which was presented by Creative Director Ralph Reynolds, appeared to be one of the livest we’ve seen in a while. The looks were well-styled and put together, and worn by some of the sexiest models. There was even a live performance by Nuttin but Strings. The show itself was a pleasant surprise coming from a brand that we haven’t really been keeping an eye on. The clothes embodied the all American urban sportswear aesthetic that can transcend from a casual day in NY, ATL, LA to a red carpet entrance at the hottest night spot in the city! Specifically we were impressed by the denim in all its styles and washes to choose from. Check out some of the pics from the attendees as well as some runway looks.
