Yesterday H&M was in the hot seat for a very racially insensitive advertisement that set the internet on fire. After releasing a public apology from the H& M headquarters, several dissatisfied critics took it to social media about how they really felt about the ad.

Canadian singer The Weeknd announced on Twitter that he would no longer be affiliated with the brand, writing: “Woke up this morning shocked and embarrassed by this photo.

“I’m deeply offended and will not be working with @hm anymore…”

Hip Hop mogul Diddy shared a tweeted with an illustrated image of the boy from the H & M ad with the saying “Put some respect on it!! When you look at us make sure you see royalty and supernatural God sent glory!! Anything else is disrespectful.”
