Dr. Conrad Murray who was suspected in playing a role in the death of Michael Jackson will soon know what his charges will be when he surrenders to the police within the next 24 hours as it has been expected since the Los Angeles coroner ruled the pop star’s death a homicide.
Although Prosecutors have advised Dr. Murray’s attorney that his client should be prepared to turn himself in, they have not indicated exactly what those charges will be.
Murray was hired by Michael Jackson to be his personal physician as Jackson prepared for his 50 city tour which was set to start in London, England.
The doctor told Los Angeles Police investigators he was with Jackson through the early morning hours of June 25 in an effort to help the pop star fall asleep, according to a police affidavit.
Murray admitted prescribing various drugs to Jackson because of him complaining that he could not sleep. Murray also told criminal investigators that he was at Michael Jackson’s home at the time of his death and when he left his bedroom for approximately two minutes and then returned, he found the singer dead.
Members of the Jackson family believe he was murdered and have been very vocal about it.
