Famed No Limit Rapper Mr. Magic Killed In Car Crash
Hip-Hop suffered a tragic loss this weekend as former No Limit Soldier Mr. Magic was killed in a car accident on Friday, March 1st, along with his wife of 13 years, Chastity.
The couple’s 12-year old daughter Twila Wise Johnson was also in the crash that occurred in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, but thankfully survived.
Magic, born Awood Johnson, was also part of C-Murder’s TRU Records camp and was featured on the classic track “Down 4 My N’s” which was featured on both Snoop’s Doog’s No Limit Top Dog and C-Murder’s Trapped In Crime.
Mr. Magic was also part of the group Body Head Bangerz which also comprised Choppa and boxing champion Roy Jones, Jr.
Paying homage to their late homey, several of Mr. Magic’s former No Limit Soldiers: Mia X, Mystikal and Silkk The Shocker Instagram and Tweeted:
Fellow New Orleans representative and Former Cash Money producer Mannie Fresh also paid respects to his fallen comrade.
