Pastor Troy Performs at Arts, Beats + Lyrics (Atlanta)

The live art and music exhibition tour stopped through The Compound Friday, July 30. The event drew over 3000 people, with live music from Codi Chestnutt, Rebirth Brass Band, Cloudeaters, and a surprise guest performance from Atlanta’s own, Pastor Troy.

Gentleman Jack Art Beats + Lyrics explores several themes in Hip Hop and highlights urban art forms expressed through photography, graffiti and paintings fused with DJ’ing, break dancing and live music.

Visual Art and photography was displayed from a diverse group of artist including God City, Fabian “Occasional Superstar” Williams, Lord Yatta, Mad Clout and event co-creator Dwayne “Dubelyoo” Wright. The event left a lasting impression on all participants. Art Beats and Lyrics were sponsored by Gentleman Jack Rare Tennessee Whisky.  Log on to for more information and future tour stops.
