Tammy and Anthony Irvin are being charged with five counts of contributing to the deprivation of a minor, 10 counts of cruelty to children, four counts of battery and two counts of false imprisonment.  According to police reports, the couple is accused of hitting all five of their children, placing one of their children (a girl) in a closet with no food and water for days. Some of the evidence uncovered was a bag of extension cords police believe may have been used on the children. According to one neighbor the couple seemed  deeply religious.

Family members in the state of Florida called Clayton County Police when they saw signs of child abuse. A family member said this was not the first instance of them being suspected of child abuse. The kids have been placed in custody of the Division of Family & Children Services for the past month.
The couple is facing over 50 charges against them and at the time both remain in jail without a bond.

Some people just don’t deserve to have children. Why beat your kids like animals?
