He Wanted Room Service Now He Just Got Served! Dominique Strauss-Kahn, Forced to Pay $6M to Alleged Rape Victim
Ex-International Monetary Fund Chief, Dominique Strauss-Kahn recently reached a $6 Million settlement with NYC maid, Nafissatou Diallo, who claims that she was raped by Strauss-Kahn in his Manhattan hotel in May 2011.
The two haven’t officially signed the settlement, but according to The Associated Press, the signing will take place within the next couple of days.
The whole situation seems pretty shady on both sides though. After the arrest of Strauss-Kahn in 2011, it was revealed that he may have been involved in a French prostitution ring, as well as numerous other sexually deviant allegations.
Diallo is no angel either, as it was found out that the Guinea immigrant lied on her asylum application, claiming that she was gang-raped before fleeing to America and also has ties to a drug dealer. The former maid’s history was so sketchy that prosecutors didn’t even feel comfortable taking the case in front of a jury.
Strauss-Kahn resigned as International Monetary Fund Chief a few days after the situation made headlines in 2011.
