Hip Hop Beef? Super Producer DJ Mustard and Rapper YG Having A Hissy Fit Over Unpaid Royalties

| December 29, 2014 | 1 Comment

I bet no one ever saw this coming; YG & DJ Mustard engaged in a feud earlier today via instagram due to unpaid royalties from YG’s debut album My Krazy Life. Apparently, Mustard is the initiator of the unfortunate situation as he took to his Instagram to express his frustrations about not being compensated for his work. He was the executive producer of the project, so the severity of his feelings is certainly understood. Nevertheless, YG fired back with harsh comments also claiming that he was never paid for the infamous “Mustard on the beat hoe” drop that the super-producer uses for a good amount of his records.

Both YG & DJ Mustard have deleted the posts, but they were captured just in time for the publics to know what happened:

This mishap is especially upsetting due to the fact that My Krazy Life is approaching its one year anniversary.

While the album got snubbed for a Grammy nomination, hopefully the two will resolve their financial disagreement and continue to make good music together.
