My e-mail is:

Former member of Los Angeles’ notorious rap group N.W.A, O’Sha Jackson, better known as Ice Cube, is ready to take the music scene by storm with his upcoming album release entitled “I Am The West.” The album will be released on September 21st.

Seeming a little bummed, Ice Cube talks about not being about to work with former partner-in-crime Dr. Dre on this his upcoming album.

He goes on to say:

“I didn’t get a chance to work with Dre on this record,” Cube told MTV News from Skyline Studios in Manhattan, where he previewed his album for press. “He’s been M.I.A. for two to three months now. But I don’t feel bad, because Snoop can’t find him either,” he laughed. “I think, really, it’s because people expect so much from him,” he continued. “People expect, when Dre does a record, it [will] change the trajectory of music. Not just be an album and it come out and be good. It has to come and take us in a different direction. And that’s a lot of pressure.”

Although Dr. Dre was not able to make this records, I am sure Ice Cube will have some hot singles for the Fall.

Over the years Ice Cube has been involved with many ventures including, Lench Mob Records and Cubevision to name the least. I don’t care what anyone has to say; Ice Cube is here to stay! I am not just saying this because I am repping the West Coast as well, but simply because he is one of the “Faces of West Coast Hip Hop” that will never fade!

No matter what ventures Ice Cube is involved with, he has always shown homage to his gangsta rap movement when it came down to his music. Might I add, he has surely paved a way for many rappers today! Be sure to check out his first single “ I Rep That West.”
