Kendrick Lamar took to the stage Saturday night in front of a national television audience for this year’s NBA’a All-start Saturday night. The live performance included a band as he performed both “M.A.A.D. City” and “B***h Don’t Kill My Vibe” for the excited crowd. K. Dot’s performance preceded the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest. Standing by himself on stage, the rising star was sporting Kanye West’s new Nike Air Yeezy 2 shoes. The artist’s shoe choice was definitely intriguing.

Red Octobers sold out in just 10 minutes on Nike’s website last Sunday. To top it off,  prior to the performance Phil Jackson wished him good luck by revisiting Kendrick’s “Control” verse tweeting “@KendrickLamar hey you coachable? Go get the dunkathon started.” Check out K.Dot’s full performance from Saturday night above.
