During a recent trip to BET’s 106 & Park, Keyshia Cole told the shows new host Bow Wow that she was nervous about participating in Black Girls Rock, because she thought she wasn’t black enough for Black Girls Rock.

“€œI’€™m Bi-racial but it’€™s ok; I’€™m Black, I’€™m Black,” she said. “At first I was skeptical about being a part of the Black Girls Rock organization, but then when I read on it and I realized how strengthening it is for our Black women and women in general€“ and how strengthening it is for us to come together and understand that no matter what, we rock.”

“I just think it’€™s a beautiful organization and I’m so happy to be a part of it,” she added.
