Lil Reese

We can’t say we didn’t see this coming but many are outraged at the senseless beating that occurred at the hands of Chicago rapper and Def Jam recording artist Lil Reese and their are some who have indicated that they are not afraid to use violence to defend the woman’s honor.

Over the weekend a video surfaced on Worldstarhiphop.com that shows several young men with automatic weapons talking about how they would deal with the rapper if their paths ever crossed. Apparently these goons are residents of Atlanta and clearly upset at what they feel was a cowardly act. Some will say violences begets violence and while we clearly do not support or condone the behavior of these young men in the video you are about to see, there is a bigger problem that exists not just with what rapper Lil Reese has done but also with the easy accessibility of weapons in our urban communities across the nation.

Please feel free to leave a comment below and let us know how did you feel after watching the video.

By the way, there has also been a petition started on Moveon.org that is calling for the boycotting of Lil Reese’s music as well as the label. Click here to sign it.
