According to documents obtained by Daily Mail Online, Atlanta rapper T.I. owes the IRS $4.5 Million in unpaid taxes. The very first lien was filed against T.I. and his wife Tiny in 2012 for, which requested $1,397,283.47 and the second was filed in 2013 for $3,173,476.39 in unpaid taxes, which equals to about $4.5 Million.

The Atlanta mogul started his business in 2001 and became the founder of Grand Hustle records, released 9 studio albums, and started in films like American Gangster and ATL. Tip also owns an Atlanta nightclub called Club Crucial and Vibe Restaurant and Lounge. The IRS has demanded a payment from Atlanta’s hip hop King but it looks like it remains due to this date. If he does not play up soon, the IRS could begin seizing all of his assets until the debt has been satisfied.

A rep in T.I.’s camp released a statement to US Weekly: “Mr. Harris and his team are working with the appropriate parties to resolve this matter.”

The amount of money due should not be an issue for the Grand Hustle Records mogul, who reportedly is worth an estimated $215 Million.

While this clearly could have been an oversight by his accountants, there have been several other entertainers who had to cough up the dough and some have even landed themselves into jail (Wesley Snipes, Lauryn Hill, and Fat Joe) just to name a few.
