Recently the world celebrated the life of legendary New York rapper Christopher “Notorious” Wallace. Now, at the tender age of 14, the late emcee’s offspring Christopher Jordan “CJ” Wallace jr., has ventured off into showbiz. He has landed his first major role opposite of comedic actor Will Ferrell… what an accomplishment! Previously he appeared in the biography movie Notorious, along with music video appearances and as an emcee, spitting rhymes on the Notorious soundtrack.

“Everything Must Go” is the title of the upcoming feature film, as it is set to release in theaters May 13th. Christopher “CJ” will play Kenny Loftus, the neighbor of Nick Halsey, which is Ferrell’s character. Nick faces a terrible mishap of relapsing, resulting in the lost of his job and marriage.

New York emcee Notorious B.I.G will forever be in the hearts of his fans and family. “CJ was 3 and a half months when Christopher died,” Voletta Wallace, CJ’s grandmother, told MTV News. “We watched his father’s work. We talked about it. Of course, I discussed his father a lot. He saw his father’s pictures a lot. I talked. The love is there. There’s no question asked.” Long live the legacy of the Notorious B.I.G.
