| May 16, 2011 | 0 Comments

Philadelphia rapper Cassidy is back behind bars again, this time on suspicions of being involved in one murder and two attempted murders.

The rapper, born Barry Reese, was arrested this past Saturday (May 14) after Philadelphia police issued a warrant for his arrest. Cassidy was followed to a local convenient store in Hackensack, NJ where he was picked up for suspected probation violation.

Lieutenant Timothy Lloyd of Hackensack police stated that Reese “was very surprised,” explaining that the officers who arrested the rapper “did an outstanding job.” “Without the proper teamwork going on, this could have spiraled out of control quickly.” Lloyd continued.

The 28 year old artist is being held at the Bergen County Jail waiting to be transported back to Philadelphia.

Cassidy was previously released from prison in 2006 after serving 8 months for being convicted of involuntary manslaughter.
