Foxy Brown’s brother/manager, Gavin Marchand was sentenced to 2 ½ years in jail for credit fraud. He plead guilty to charges of identity theft in court yesterday. He was arrested after using a fake MasterCard and American Express Card in Manhattan, NY last year.

He and his associates tried to purchase $7,882 worth of merchandise from a Hermes boutique. They attempted to flee the scene once officers realized what was happening. This sparked a chase though the streets of Manhattan, but Marchand later turned himself in after realizing that a warrant had been issued for his arrest. Millions of dollars are lost each year from credit card scams and card holders. I guess it may have been tough for him to keep up with his rich persona and being the cousin of one of the hottest rappers of all times.
