Over the weekend Eminem announced that he is currently working with the legendary and sometimes controversial director Spike Lee.  The two are working together on Eminem’s “Headlights” video.  The new visual will be more of a short film and less of a music video, which is expected when the guy behind the camera is the same guy behind films like Do The Right Thing, She’s Gotta Have It, and 4 Little Girls.

On Saturday Eminem and Spike tweeted about the new “Highlights” video, which is the Detroit native’s fifth single off of The Marshall Mathers LP2 album.

“Headlights” follows “The Monster” video featuring Rihanna.  Eminem recently shared a behind the scenes clip for the video, where his manager Paul Rosenberg initially calls up to leave a voicemail explaining the concept of the video.  Em and Rihanna will co-headline the Monster tour this summer.
