If you haven’t heard of teen author, Stone Erickson, then get familiar. The 14-year-old is a budding sci-fi author who not only loves writing, but is using his success as a platform to get other kids to love reading/writing as much as he does.

Erickson teamed up with Write On Promotions, African American on the Move Book Club and the Cobb County Tony Matthews Boys & Girls Club to host a 2012 Holiday Book and Pajama Drive. The drive will be held at 785 Fontaine Rd, Austell, GA on Friday, December 14th from 5pm – 7pm in order to raise over 1,000 gently used books and pajama sets for children in the community and is open to the public.

“Everyone can draw something out of reading. For kids it’s a matter of finding the type of book you can connect with. The earlier kids start reading, the more they will enjoy it when they grow up”, said Erickson.
