After opening remarks from Lauren Gellert, EVP of programming at WE tv, and Marc Juris, president at WEtv, guests were treated to a sneak peek of the upcoming “Growing Up Hip Hop: ATL” season 2, which was introduced by executive producer, Bow Wow.

To recap Season 1 we were introduced to the cast of young Hip Hop moguls who are creating their own lanes in the Hip-Hop industry like their parents. Since last season Bow Wow has shown some growth when it comes to being serious about his music, he’s been in the studio cranking out songs back to back. But major drama unfolds when Jermaine Dupree and DaBrat learn of  Bow Wow’s new executive decisions concerning his album. Zonnique continues to step up to take control over her music career without the help of her musical parents, Tiny & T.I Harris.  She is very focused on creating her identity and connecting with her fans in this season. Reginae Carter who turned up last season is now 19, in college, and committed to staying drama free as she awaits the newest addition to her family. Reginae’s mother Toya Wright is expecting baby number 2 and is very committed to helping her daughter put an end to last season’s Brandon Barnes drama. She and Ms.Deb have a few interventions in play to get their kids to settle the beef once and for all. Shaniah, Jermaine Dupri’s daughter returns this season with a secret boyfriend that her father knows nothing about!!!   Brandon Barnes is back and with no patience for anyone or anything but focused on Artist Development. Ayana, daughter of DJ Hurricane is focused on growing and managing her clothing line Cozy Closet.
