Chicago’s supersonic spitting lyricist Twista confesses of being rejected by Kanye West’s label G.O.O.D music. Back in the recruiting days of G.O.O.D music, Twista suggested in being brought aboard, but Kanye gave him the cold shoulder.

“I actually wanted to [sign] at one point, Twista recalls of Kanye’s 2008 Graduation era. But I don’t know what time of vibe Kanye had with me at that time.”

The 36-year-old lyricist continues, “I mentioned that I would be getting out of my [Atlantic Records] contract and wondered if he wanted to jump down. But I don’t know, I guess it wasn’t a good idea for him at the time. He should’ve done it. He would’ve had ‘Wetter’ [Laughs].”

Since then, Twista was signed to EMI where he released his album “Category F5” and is preparing to release his 8th album, “The Perfect Storm.”

“I wanted to bang people over the head with the eighth album; recapture the creative element I had with Traxster being my producer,” he said. “Classic Twista album for the fans.”

Chris Brown, Waka Flocka Flame and Yo Gotti are to have appearances on the album which is confirmed to hit the stores on November 9th 2010.
