Unbelievably Disgusting! Mass Murderer Dylann Roof Treated to Burger King After Arrest

| June 22, 2015 | 0 Comments

Dylann Roof, 21, sat in attendance of a prayer group at Mother Emanuel AME Church before he brutally slaughtered nine innocent black people.

It’s not just his acts of blatant racism and terrorism that has sparked a national outrage with people of color. It is how authorities and even the media have handled this sick and deranged individual’s actions with care and respect that he doesn’t deserve.

Roof was armed on on the run when he was apprehended in Shelby, North Carolina, just hours away from Charleston. In a police report given by Shelby Police Chief, Jeff Ledford to the Charlotte Observer, it was noted that after his arrest Roof was complaining of hunger so he was treated to a meal at burger king by police. Roof was even outfitted with a bullet proof vest as he was being escorted by police.

The treatment of Dylann Roof is not only appalling but it proves that white privilege in America is REAL. Here is a man who admitted that he was trying to start a race war by committing mass murder and was intent on killing black people but he gets bail set at $1 million. The judge, James Gosnell, who generously gave Roof his bail also had the audacity to say that Roof’s family are victims too. And it doesn’t stop there, the media has done their fair share of saving face for the actions committed by Roof.

On most major news networks (Fox News, ABC News, CNN, MSNBC) there has been no mention of the words thug, terrorist, or mass murderer attached to Roof. Instead there are discussions of him being mentally ill, it was a hate crime not an act of terrorism, drugs were involved, or that he chose his victims indiscriminately. But black victims like Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin, and Freddie Gray who didn’t kill or harm anyone are vilified and labeled as thugs? Or what about Dajerria Becton, the young black female who did not commit a crime but was thrown to the ground and pinned to the ground in Mckinney, Texas?

At the end of the day, the way authorities and the national media have tried to humanize Dylann Roof is disgusting. Labeling him as a victim of mistreatment or sick person disrespects the memories of the nine people he killed in that church and it should not be tolerated in America or anywhere else in the world.
