Hosted at the famous Beverly Hills Hotel, Essence Magazine held their 4th Annual Luncheon honoring black woman. The Beverly Hills Hotel, a spanish-inspired historical beauty, helped set the ambiance and undeniably amplified the momentum of the guests. Check out exclusive photos below!

The honorees in attendance stepped out on the red carpet dressed to kill, each rendering what a confident woman should be. The opportunity to watch these women was a once in a lifetime lesson of confidence. Can anyone say, “Confidence 101?” Red Carpet arrivals let us know it was all about colors—Bright Colors to Pales and Neutrals. Spring is here!

Essence Magazine’s 2011 March covergirl Actress Angelea Bassett captured the spotlight as she glistened down the red carpet in her elegant A-lined dress which, by the way, looked amazing.

Fashion designer Kimora Lee Simmons arrived extremely radiant in a pale pink off-the-shoulder dress. She looked very youthful and definitely ready to rip the runway!

Gabrielle Union was a true visionary. She wore a black dress with sheer elegant detail and a red lipstick which gave a splash of color pulling the look together.

Actress Garcelle Beauvais and Singer/Actress Jennifer Hudson were my favorite of the night! Garcelle stood tall in her white suit jacket and fitted white suit pants, the electric blue accented accessories were amazing and those shoes were to die for. Jennifer wore an amazing purple form-fitting dress that hugged her natural curves and showcased her great new body! Her gray pumps topped off her grown and sexy daytime attire.

These inspirational women have proven throughout the years the end result of diligence, patience and persistence pays off in the long run. There were a few prominant distiguished gentlemen on hand as well to show support to these outstanding and accomplished women.
