Rapper Kid Cudi has been arrested on Friday on criminal charges in New York City for possession of a controlled substance and criminal mischief according to New York City Police spokesman Sgt. John Butorn.
Cudi was scheduled to perform early Saturday at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Tennessee. After taking the stage, he said, “I really wanted to be here tonight.”
Cudi released his debut album “Man on the Moon: The End of Day” in 2009.
The Cleveland native also co-stars in the HBO comedy series “How to Make It in America.” Story developing.
