Young Money rapper Drake left a lot of New York fans disappointed yesterday when he had to cancel his free concert at South Street Seaport amid violence and over crowding according to eye witneses.
According to New York City police, the promoters of the concert told them that they only expected 8,000-10,000 people to attend the event however the amount doubled close to 20,000 before the Young Money rapper could perform.
Additionally several people were injured when chairs and bottles were being thrown once the crowd was told that Drake would be 90 minutes late for the show.

Drake tweeted this after his show was canceled.
Two people were arrested for disorderly conduct and several others were taken to the hospital for non life threatening injuries. New York City Police has a reputation for handling rap concerts more aggressively than any other musical event in the city.
