Atlanta, Ga (pitchengine.com) June, 2010 – After a national search for an agency that would effectively and creatively convey its image as the “gold standard” ,The makers of TROJAN® Brand Condoms selected The Celebrity Agency for the activation of the Magnum Live Large Project. The Celebrity Agency (TCA) successfully fused the iconic brand with GRAMMY award winning musician, actor and entrepreneur – Ludacris, to launch this national initiative on living large and responsibly. The campaign will culminate with the “Live Large” Awards honoring celebrities, athletes, philanthropist, community activist and medical professionals/ researchers who live large and responsibly on Friday, June 18th at 7:00pm in a luxuriously private location.
TROJAN® Magnum Condoms “Live Large” Awards will be hosted by Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, with Fonzeworth Bentley serving as this years Master of Ceremonies and music provided by legendary DJ Kid Capri. “The ‘Live Large’ Project is all about giving people who live beyond the status quo, the platform they command,” said the newly signed partner, Ludacris. Living Large is about more than what you have — it’s what you have to give back. Award recipients were selected as they represent the mantra of the brand in every aspect of their lives. This year’s award recipients include Jermaine Dupri (So So Def, Global 14), Brian Michael Cox (grammy award winning producer), Kwanza Hall (Atlanta City Councilman), the Ludacris Foundation, Mary McFarlane, PhD (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention – division of STD prevention) and honorary presentations to community heroes who have committed their efforts to AIDS research and activism. The Magnum Live Large Project’s “Live Large” Awards beneficiary is the Kaiser Permanente Hospital Foundation’s Greater Than AIDS campaign. The foundation will be awarded with a check in the amount of $5,000.00 to go towards HIV/ STD prevention by hosts Ludacris and Jim Daniels.
In conjunction with the “Live Large” awards, TROJAN® Brand Condoms and The Celebrity Agency have coined the phrase V.R.P. (Very Responsible Persons). In place of a V.I.P. party, this purpose driven affair will take place immediately following the interactive awards piece. Guests will be privy to the TROJAN® signature gold carpet experience, “Live Large” helicopter rides, rare gold and black champagne fountains, and an overall theme of living responsibly. “We really wanted to partner with people that could bring the brand’s initiative to a new progressive urban audience.
