B Stacks has proven to his fans that he is in fact that artist who can once again put North Carolina rap scene back on the map. “I feel that I am one of a kind, I don’t see nobody my age doing what I am doing right now” declares B Stacks.  “I feel like a lot of the new artists coming out are just like protégés of mainstream artists. South Durham’s B Stacks makes it very clear from the moment you sit down with him that he intends on bringing the heat to the rap game and he is taking no hostages.

Achieving success in the music industry has always held its difficulties. At the verge of making it into this music game some artists allow the industry to get the best of them. Today has become the era of indie artists where the likes of your success is in the hands of your personal work. Humble beginnings has always been an inspiration for B. Stack$, who is without a doubt a “Product of the South.”

Back in 2007, B Stacks was signed to North Carolina based record label Faculty Entertainment at 17 years old and soon thereafter he was featured on 14 out of their 17 tracks of their highly anticipated mix tape “Death B4 Dishonor Vol. 2” which elevated his rap career to the next level garnering the attention of mainstream producers.

Not too long afterwards, B Stacks had an opportunity to work alongside CTE’s J.W. and together they worked on the track “Bounce Back” which was produced by the Olympics, the hit making production team that is signed to Rick Rosay’s Maybach Music label.

The talented rap star B-Stacks is set to release his mix-tape “Code Red:  114 hosted by heavy hitter DJ Scream within the next two weeks as well as be sure to check him out in the upcoming issue of Hip Hop Weekly magazine’s  Indie Grind section.
