Delta Airlines Hosted “Travel in Pink” for Cancer with Estelle, Dr. J and more

    Last night, DELTA Airlines and the Grady Health Foundation hosted “Travel in Pink,” a fundraiser benefiting Grady Memorial Hospital’s Avon Foundation Comprehensive Breast Center in Atlanta. Grammy-winning singer ESTELLE performed as well as local country rock band South 70. Attendees included NBA legend Julius Erving, Tyler Perry Studios EVP Roger Bobb, event emcee/WSB TV anchor Jovita Moore, V103 personalities Frank Ski and Rashan Ali, Tameka Raymond, Valeisha Butterfield, Grady Hospital CEO Mike Young, WNBA Atlanta Dream owner Kathy Betty and Coach Marynell Meadors, Radio One/Praise 102.5 personality Darlene McCoy, Atlanta City Councilman Kwanza Hall, songwriter Cristyle and more.

    The event took place in a Delta hangar and featured a silent auction, a ‘Tweet Lounge,’ food stations with cuisine from around the world, a tour inside the Boeing 767 “Spirit of Delta” aircraft, a pink ribbon display by Atlanta fire trucks, and a live auction led by Grady Health Foundation president Lisa Borders.
