Lightening has definitely struck twice in the hip hop community today as another rapper has just gone to jail. Juaquin Malphurs professionally known as Waka Flocka Flame has just voluntarily surrendered to law enforcement on an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from a executed search warrant by the Henry County Police last month. Police found several registered firearms as well as a small amount of marijuana and prescription drugs according to the arrest report.
A confidential source has revealed to us that the weapons in question belonged to one of Waka Flocka’s security personnel however police believe the guns belonged to the rapper. Wearing a white tee shirt, red belt and blue jeans, the New York born rapper was taken into custody by brawly Henry County Sheriff. His first appearance is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon where a magistrate judge must determine whether he should be released on a bond.
Hip Hop Enquirer’s Dennis Byron was on the scene to speak with Waka Flocka just before he surrendered. How do you feel right now about making the walk through those doors? I am not going to fault anyone for my mistakes. I created the fame and now I have to pay the price.”
