Within the last hour rapper Waka Flocka Flame’s tour bus was fired upon causing his security team to return gunfire which resulted in one male individual being shot in the shoulder. Police say his injury is not life threatening. While no arrests have been made, police have detained the famous rapper along with his brother and a worker employed at Car Stereo Warehouse which is located at 3039 E. Independence Boulevard, Charlotte, NC.
Waka Flocka Mother & Manager Speaks Out About Shooting Incident
Waka’s publicist, Kali Bowyer, tells RumorFix that Waka was getting a stereo installed in his tour bus when four shots were fired. Waka was not injured.
“Security followed approriate protocol and returned fire,” says Bowyer, who revealed that the rapper travels with more than a dozen security guards. The gunman was shot by the guards.
Waka’s released a statement to his fans: “If the world is so concerned about me, tell them to buy my CD.Flockaveli. It’s in stores now.”
We attemped to reach police officials for a comment but all that they could say is the case is currently under investigation.
