Charles Mathis
Atlanta Attorney to the stars, Charles A. Mathis Jr. passed away last night at the age of 57. Inside sources say the cause of death was congestive heart failure. Funeral Information Jackson Memorial Bapt. Church 534 Fairburn Road Atl, GA Tues, May 3rd 11am
Mr. Mathis had been in a coma for a couple of weeks. He was a well-known philanthropist and activist in the community who donated much of his time and money to the city of Atlanta. He was a senior partner of The Mathis Law Firm and represented countless celebrities and executives including R&B sensations TLC and Usher.
In 2007 Allison Mathis, Mr. Mathis’ daughter,(pictured above) was featured on MTV’s hit show “My Super Sweet 16” where she celebrated with a debutante presentation at her family’s mansion and a bash at Diddy’s restaurant Justin’s.
