If you were one of the lucky ones to have been fortunate enough to work with a crew of folks who truly believed in the mantra “Death Before Dishonor” when it related to being loyal to the folks around you then you might not be as forgiving as some expect rap mogul Jay Z will be to his former label mate Beanie Sigel who recently issued an apology for what some will say was the ultimate disrespect to a friend. Apparently the “State Property” artist had a change of heart after saying some harsh words about one of the biggest names in hip hop. In a recent interview with xxlmag.com, Sigel regrettably had to apologize to the Brooklyn born rapper for speaking out of line against him. Sigel stated in a recent interview:

In this video, Beanie Sigel is dissing both Jay Z and TI (classic)

“What Mike Epps say? ‘Gangstas f*ck up too. Whatever I felt this dude Jay did wrong to me, it can’t outweigh the one thing he did do for me – he gave me an opportunity. Dude gave me an opportunity. A lot of people don’t get opportunities. He gave me that. That outweighs everything. I need that in black and white. I got caught in the moment and put my feelings out there. I should have never done that.”

“I was explaining the whole Roc-A-Fella shit and a lot of feelings were going to get hurt. I was airing s–t out. Just the homies could listen to that when they come into the studio. I couldn’t put that out. It wouldn’t sit right with me.”

Wonder what could have brought this 360 degree change on? We know Beanie Sigel is a street dude and wonder whether this is a play he is attempting to make on Jay Z’s softer side to help him get back on or his dude getting soft in his old age?
