Kanye West arriving at Lincoln Center in NYC
The stars showed up and showed out last night (June 6) at the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Awards in New York City. The event was held at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center.
Nominees for the evening included Alexander Wang, Michael Bastian, Jack McCollough, and Ashley Olsen & Mary-Kate Olsen.
The fiercely independent, four-time CFDA Fashion Award winner Marc Jacobs received the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award, while Lady Gaga received the Fashion Icon Award for being a fashion revolutionary impacting style today.
Other award recipients of the evening were Eugenia Sheppard, Eleanor Lambert, and Phoebe Philo amongst many others.
