MVP Dirk Nowitzki holds up NBA Championship Trophy
The Dallas Mavericks won it all last night in game 6 of the NBA Finals series with a 105-95 victory over the Miami Heat.
Since the beginning of the season there had been much talk that The Heat’s “Big 3” LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh were going to win the championship and bring home those rings. But last night, that was not the case.
The championship is the first in the franchise’s history and was well deserved. With Jason Terry scoring 27 points, and MVP Dirk Nowitzki adding his 21, the Mavericks were a force to be reckoned with. Winning the series 4-2, the Mavericks couldn’t have asked for anything better after the Heat celebrated their first title in Dallas after Game 6 of the 2006 finals.
