Joss Stone
Two men are being held in a U.K. jail and charged with plotting to rob murder British soul singer Joss Stone. Junior Bradshaw, 30, and Kevin Liverpool, 33, both from Manchester, were picked in the area of Stone’s home on Tuesday when neighbors tipped police off because of suspicious behavior.
Police found a sword, rope and a body bag in their possession along with blueprints mapping out the singer’s home and aerial views of the property.
The men, who appeared in court this morning were refused bail due to the nature of the case and will appear in court again on July 1.
Stone responded to news of the suspects’ arrest on Wednesday, saying in a statement, “I’d like to thank everyone for their concern but I’m absolutely fine and getting on with life as normal.”
