The 80s’ were alive and well last night at the Roxy in Los Angeles as legendary R&B and Soul music trio The Pointer Sisters performed for a charity concert in honor of the Friendly House. Anyone who knows me will tell you that the 80s and its fashion is my hands down favorite decade. But this just hurts my heart.
There comes a time in every music artists’ life when they should say to themselves “I’m not the 30-year-old star I used to be so I’ll hang up my white lace body suit.” But no, not Bonnie. I hope when the evening was over she made a charitable contribution (to society) by burning that outfit!
