Rihanna performs at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA
Rihanna’s show at Dallas’ American Airlines Center was cancelled last night (July 8th), due to a fire that ignited during the first hour of the show. Without a doubt, she definitely puts on a hot show, but Rihanna took it to a whole new level.
The Bajan beauty was halfway into her hit song “California King Bed” when the pyrotechnics went erratic causing sparks to fly and set backdrop curtains ablaze.
The show was canceled immediately and fans were quickly evacuated as the flames were put out by crew members before Dallas Fire-Rescue firefighters arrived on the scene.
Fortunately enough no injuries occurred, with Rihanna tweeting after the incident:
“DALLAS!!! We set the stage on FYAH tonight!!! LITERALLY!!! I’m so pissed, I was havin so much fun wit yall too!!! I gotta come back man!! DALLAS yall CRAY!!! Love this f**kin place!
