Kanye West
Last night, the MTV Video Music Award nominations were announced by Pop diva Katy Perry. Leading the pack is Ms. Perry herself with 8 nominations, 5 of which are for her collabo with the genius that is Kanye West “E.T.” Ye trails right behind Katy with 6 nominations of his own and 5 more if you include those with Katy.
Others nominated for awards include Nicki Minaj and Beyonce with 3 noms, as well as Chris Brown, Pitbull, Lil Wayne, Lupe Fiasco, Eminem and many more. Hip-Hop dominates the Best New Artist category with Wiz Khaila, Big Sean, Kreyshawn and Odd Future frontman Tyler, The Creator.
