L.A. Reid
Newly named CEO of Epic Records, L.A. Reid is getting rid of all the ‘ugly’ people at his label. He wasted no time in setting the staff straight letting them know that he wants to keep the environment sexy.
In a meeting held with the label executives where they had been expecting him to discuss his vision for the label’s artists, Reid made it clear by stating “I don’t want no ugly people working here; I only want good-looking people.”
Now this is the same man that dropped Lady Gaga from Island Def Jam because he didn’t think she was attractive and said,”I don’t get you, I don’t get your music.” One industry insider says, “Reid’s thing is keeping it sexy.” Reid is also a judge on this season of “X-Factor” and is said to be more harsh than Simon Cowell.
He just might be serious about this “ugly” thing after all!
A Reid source said, “There is no way he said that,” and it was “completely made up” by someone with an agenda.
