In today’s over saturated hip hop landscape, it’s hard to find rappers who stand apart from the pack. One who has been grinding his way to the forefront is Party Hardy. Born and raised in Harlem, NY, Party Hardy grew up in the same gritty block that birthed rap stars like Cam’ron, Mase and the late, great Big L.

As a child he hustled as a means to survive and to satisfy a hunger embedded in him that longed for the better things in life. His mother did her best to provide a stable home for him and his two sisters and to keep him on the right path though at times it wasn’t easy. But Party Hardy’s music isn’t about his hard knocks past; it’s about his present, which currently finds him in Miami, where he’s been busy carving out a name for himself on the underground and club scenes.

“My style of music is for anybody that’s pushin’, hustlin’ and trying to get somewhere better in life, and who enjoys celebrating and being successful,” says Hardy. “It’s about having fun, getting money and feeling good about yourself.”

Equipped with witty New York lyricism and a smooth down South flow, Party Hardy has already experienced what many up and coming new artists only dream of. Having performed as a teenager on the “And 1” tour and travelled the country performing in sold-out arenas as a former member of the rap group Untouchables, he understands the amount of hard work and sacrifice that are necessary for success and has always challenged himself to do more. Inspired heavily by the aforementioned Cam, Mase and Big L, Party Hardy saw their successes as a reason to believe that he too could find his place in the game.

“Having those types of people around, it made you wanna do music,” he says. He also credits his pursuit of music to his former mentor, the late Huddy Combs of the rap group Harlem World, who forced him to focus and push himself as an artist as he pursued his dream. Party Hardy has already appeared on songs with some of the tops acts in rap, including Scarface, Lil Jon, B.G., Maino, Dipset, Jacka and Gravy to name a few, and linked with production heavyweights Scott Storch, Swizz Beatz, Heatmakers, DJ Toomp HangMen 3.

He has also made the rounds on the mix-tape circuit as well, collaborating on CD’s with Jeff2timez, Big Mike, Big Kap and DJ Drama. “My philosophy is “get money and enjoy your success,” says Party Hardy. “We made it out of the hood; let’s not keep the hood mentality. We’re all men. We don’t have to all live by the gangster code. Some of us can just live by a regular code and be happy with our success.”

Currently, Hardy’s latest club banger, the Shah Bros.-produced, “Protocol” has been heating things up all over South Florida’s radio and club circuit and has music industry executives officially taking notice.
