This past weekend, Tyson, Hip Hop Enquirer’s resident fashion guru and connoisseur of all things fly, did a post taking a look back on Aaliyah’s most memorable style moments. Peep the article here, if you hadn’t indulged already. But to keep the Aaliyah memories going, we’re bringing you our favorite Aaliyah videos. Read more to see if your favorite made the cut!
Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number
One of the world’s first introductions to Aaliyah, and still one of our fave all-time Aaliyah videos at Hip Hop Enquirer.
Try Again feat. Timbaland
This was one of the first times we got to see Aaliyah’s sexier side, after seeing her on the big screen in the blockbuster smash, Romeo Must Die.·
One In A Million
Honestly, if there was one long video for the entire One In A Million·album, the entire thing probably would’ve made the list. Another Aaliyah and Timabland collab, with a video appearance from everybody’s favorite texturizer-rocking R&B crooner,·Ginuwine.·
Rock The Boat
Released after Aaliyah’s tragic death, this video is one of the last memories the world has of the R&B songstress. Shot in the Bahamas, the video was directed by Hype williams, and choreographed by Aaliyah’s friend and choreographer extraordinaire, Fatima Robinson.
