Romeo Miller
A handfull of black celebrities worth mentioning, hit up the 21st annual NAACP Theatre awards on Monday night in Los Angeles. It must suck to have an awards show be overshadowed by the previous night’s VMAs. And while no one announced any pregnancies or dressed as a space aged Japanese alien, some of the celebs actually looked nice.
We had no idea that there was such a thing as an NAACP Theatre awards but its safe to assume that it’s a celebration in, well, theatrical arts. However, judging by how some of the stars dressed, it’s unclear whether the event is a black tie occasion or just a place to sample free finger foods.
Case in point Romeo Miller, the sole heir to the No Limit throne, made little to no effort in dressing for the event. Maybe he misread the invitation to be “black tee” and not “black tie”. He arrived in black v-neck, black denim with Louis V belt, and suede loafers. This would have been more appropriate for an after party. But lets move on.
Thats so Raven
Hands down, the best dressed of the evening went to Raven Symone who wowed everyone (including us) showing off her new figure in a strapless gown. Raven has come a long way fom when we were first introduced to her on the Cosby Show. Now, she’s well on her way to becoming a certified banger in Hollywood. Although we would have liked to see some diamonds either on the wrist or around the neck, we’ll take what we got with the beading on the bodice. Take a look below to see what the rest had to offer.
