UPDATE
After long speculation on whether Clifford ‘TI” Harris would be released by federal authories early, or would have to stay behind bars until September 29th when his incarceration was scheduled to end, has been put to rest. The rapper walked out of an Arkansas prison early this morning and is enroute to Atlanta.
According to MTV News, they received confirmation from Federal Bureau of Prisons spokesman Chris Burke that T.I. was released from Forrest City Correctional Facility in Arkansas at 7:29 a.m. and is on his way to a community living facility. The name of the facility will not be released until after his arrival. Tip was serving time for a violation of probation that stemmed from an arrest in Los Angeles weeks after the release of his Taker’s movie premiere. His troubles are far from over since he still has to complete his court ordered house arrest as well as three additional years on probabtion.
The star wasted little time to take to his twitter account to announce his new found freedom; “The storm is over & da sun back out. IT’S OUR TIME TO SHINE SHAWTY!!!!! Welcome to the beginning of our Happy Ending!!!!”
We are looking forward to him releasing more good music and also more movie projects in the very near future. Hopefully his focus will be on his family and his career this time around and he’ll stay away from all the things that put him in that predicament in the first place.
