T.I.’s attorney confirmed this morning that the rapper was released from federal custody at the Dismas Charities Atlanta halfway house after a two week stay there. Back in August, T.I. whose real name is Clifford Harris was released from federal prison, but shortly after was taken back into custody for the manner in which he left prison. This time around, instead of being met by a tour bus full of cameras and entourage, T.I.· was chauffeured in a simple SUV, Access Atlanta reported. See footage of T.I.’s release inside!
T.I. was released just in time for a weekend full of events in Atlanta for the BET Hip Hop Awards where he will be hosting several events such as a Welcome Home/Birthday Celebration at ESSO Nightclub and the· Grand Hustle BET Hip Hop Awards Block Party on Saturday.
