At this time, I would like to give Clifford Harris aka T.I. a gold star for using his time wisely. Not only has his stint in prison given The Kaaaang some amo for hot new tracks in the studio, its also given him the time to write a book.
During his latest trip to NYC, the pint sized MC invited a few of his friends (Jason Geter, J. Cole, Swizz Beatz) to attend a private event for the release of his new book titled Power & Beauty. The real crime here is that Oprah no longer has a show where she and a few million of her most devoted followers can sit around and talk about how this exquisite piece of literature changed their lives.
All jokes aside though, I’m happy for T.I. He’s been heavy on his promo trail to redeem himself in the public eye. One minute he’s laying down a swift and soulful smack down to Diddy’s club bitchassness antics, and then the next he’s chatting it up with the ladies of The View accepting full responsibility for his actions.
