These days, it seems as though rappers are looking for the next best way to keep their names in the headlines; emphasis on the head part (#nosuperhead). This week, both Soulja Boy and his unofficial sponsored big brother Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson debuted their new dos’ upon the masses. Fresh out of jail stemming from his drug & gun possession arrest, Soulja Boy sent out a series of TwitPics displaying his newly bleached cropped coif. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen theAtlantarapper with a different hair color; but this is the first time we’ve seen that he went balls to the wall with the bottle of dye. There’s not much to say about the “Crank That” creator’s look except; Breezy did it first and did it better.
And as for the new and “improved” 50? Well, he made an appearance on CNBC to discuss this whole “Occupy Wall Street” that seems to be sweeping the nation and some other countries as well as his own business ventures. I personally don’t get it. I’m always one for free expression and all but there’s something about cornrows that were done by the hood chick down the street and a business suit that doesn’t quite “mesh” well together with me.
